The Dreaded R Word

Anonymous asked: I'm an eighteen year old guy from Virginia who was assaulted and raped multiple times when I was seventeen(a little over a month ago) by a twenty seven year old. I know the man that did it, and I want to report him/press charges because he's preying upon other people and needs to be taken off the streets. I've never had to do this sort of thing before and I'm fucking scared. What do I do? He just moved to a different state(Georgia) where he's trying to trap and abuse another person. Help?

Answer:

I’m so sorry that this has happened to you, and I am very glad that you’ve decided to reach out.

If you want to report him, I would take some time to write everything that happened down. It is very difficult, but it will help. Then go to the police station and file a report. If you have someone you trust who knows, or you trust telling, have them go with you. It is always easier knowing that you have someone there for support.
